Ponzi Money Being Clawed Back From Fund Founded By Former MN GOP Chair & Wife

According to a document (PDF) on the Palm Beach Info website, the KidsFirst Fund of Minnesota received $575,484.00 (according to the same document, Minnesota Teen Challenge owes $5,790,606.51).

According to the website, KidsFirst Scholarship Fund of Minnesota was founded in 1998 by Ron and Laurie Eibensteiner.

Readers may recall that Ron Eibensteiner was mentioned as supporting a presidential pardon for Frank Vennes in a letter to the Bush White House from Senator Norm Coleman:

Bachmann, Coleman, Pawlenty and then-Minnesota GOP Chair Ron Eibensteiner all recommended Vennes for a presidential pardon during the decade Vennes and his family and personal lawyer showered tens of thousands of dollars on Minnesota politicians.
